Biography

Dr. Keira Moore is a lecturer for the Online Applied Behavioral Science Program in the Department of Applied Behavioral Science at the University of Kansas. She earned her BA in Psychology from Hamilton College in 2006, her MS in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University in 2009, and her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis from Western New England University in 2015. During her masters and doctoral programs, Dr. Moore worked as a graduate assistant at the world-renowned New England Center for Children and was a member of Dr. Bill Ahearn’s research lab. She has published in numerous journals including the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, Behavior Analysis in Practice, the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders, Behavior Interventions, and Behavior Modification. She is also a doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is licensed as a Behavior Analyst in 3 states. Dr. Moore has nearly two decades of clinical experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and she specializes in the assessment and treatment of sleep problems and severe challenging behavior. She currently runs Moore Behavior Consulting, where she consults on sleep problems, and severe challenging behavior.
