Biography

Dr. Stacha Leslie is a Lecturer in the Online Applied Behavioral Science Program in the Department of Applied Behavioral Science at the University of Kansas. She is also an Educational Consultant with The Faison Center. She earned her BS in Rehabilitation Studies and M.Ed. in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas, followed by her Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Kansas.

Dr. Leslie’s professional practice began in the public education system, where she developed a strong commitment to improving educational services for students with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her clinical and research interests continue to center on enhancing the quality of educational programming and strengthening the training and support provided to the staff who serve these learners. In addition to her academic and clinical roles, Dr. Leslie serves as an advisor to the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies.
